The governments of Korea and the U.S. held the 9th Future of the Alliance for two days until June 8, in which they discussed problems such as the relocation plan of Yongsan base but failed to reach an agreement. After the talks were over, Kwon Ahn-do, policy director (left) of the National Defense Ministry, and Richard Lawless, undersecretary of defense for Asian and Pacific affairs, separately gave press briefings in regard to the result of the talks.
