There Is a Possibility to Select Players for Eindhoven

“Korea is my home country spiritually. I am happy when ever I visit.”

Guss Hiddink, The hero of Korean legend in World Cup and present Director of PSV Eindhoven visited Korea again for last two months.

Director Hiddink arrived Inchun International Airport with his girl friend Elizabeth in the morning of 18th. Director Hiddink appeared with wearing black formal suits from disembark gate and commented “I am happy to come back, thanks for fans` welcome.” And added “I am watching the game between Korea and Brazil at 20th and select players for PSV Eindhoven.”

Director Hiddink will participate in Youth Power Program, address in seminar, watch Amatch between Korea and Brazil and depart at 21st.

The following is interview with Director Hiddink;

-Yesterday PSV Eindhoven lost game against Feyenoord Song Jong-kuk belongs to.

“It was hard day Song Jong-kuk played very well. He showed will to win. It was no wonder that we lost.”

-What is your purpose for this visiting?

“I want to watch A match between Korea Brazil and know Korea manages the game against Brazil the number one in the world. I may select players for PSV Eindhoven also. I want to meet the world cup players.”

-There are some rumor that you will pick up park Jee-sung….

“I hope so as well. Park Jee-sung also has the intention to play for PSV Eindhoven. So I hop good news in new future.”

-How about other players such as Lee Young-pyo, Kim Nam-il etc.

“ Park Jee-sung has the qualification of FA, so it is possible to discuss with him directly, but other players are under different circumstance. There are many matter to be solved such as transferring etc.”

-Will you discuss about the director position for 2006 World Cup with Korean Football Association?

“We have sufficient time, It is not the right time to comment about it now.”

-Do you know that Hong Myung-bo transfers to LA Galaxy?

“It is good decision to complete active player life in overseas. He will learn lot of soccer and contribute to Korea soccer.”

-The popularity of Korean K League declined after World Cup….

“It may be the result of star players advancing overseas. To develop Korean soccer prospective young players should be trained systematically and continually.”
