The New York Times reported on the 3rd that North Korea suggested that she was willing to negotiated with America on abolition of the nuclear development plan using concentrated uranium and allowing the international inspection on related facilities.

The New York Times reported that the Deputy Ambassador of the North Korean Mission to the UN, Han Song-ryul expressed those intentions through several statements, direct interviews, and email interviews with the New York Times last week.

Ambassador Han answered to the question, ‘Are you willing to abolish the uranium concentration program,’ “Yes. I believe that our government will erase all the worries of the American security.” And he also answered “Yes” to the question whether she would allow the international inspection on all uranium facilities.

The New York Times reported that Ambassador Han said in the statement before the interview, “Everything is negotiable,” and “Our government will dissolve all the worries of the American security through talks if America is willing to end the hostile policy against North Korea.”

Ambassador Han also added, “If America refuses negotiation, North Korea welcomes former President Jimmy Carter or any famous American politician works as an arbitrator.”

The New York Times reported that the US State Department stated their intention not to reply to North Korean proposal officially, and the government officials reacted that America would not recall her policy not to talk unless North Korea abandon the uranium concentration research center.

Prior to this, the Assistant Secretary of State, John Bolton said during the invitational speech at the Hudson Research Center, which is the ‘Think Tank’ of Washington, on the 1st, “It is difficult to talk to a government, which violates agreements impudently,” and “There is no chance of talk unless North Korea completely and definitely dismisses the uranium concentration nuclear development program.”
