Mortal Transfer

`Mortal Transfer` of French director Jean Jacques Beineix, who is famous of the movie `Betty Blue 37.2`, is a thriller about transfer of death, as the title suggests.

Psychiatrist Michel falls in sleep while counseling young lady Olga and soon wakes up from a dream, in which he kills her by suffocating, and finds out that Olga is actually dead. Since then, Michel keeps falling in sleep, and is confused about what to do with Olga’s dead body, while hearing things like a teacher’s story in hallucination.

`Mortal Transfer` strains the audience by a complex plot that associates with Freud’s `interpretation of dreams`, as it shows about inner human desire for murder with dream as the mediator.

However, the movie’s meanings become opaque as the process of abandoning Olga’s body becomes a comedy. Jean-Hugues Anglade, the leading actor in `Betty Blue 37.2`, took the role of Michel. Rating : Above 18. Release Date : 19th.
