Japanese Group, `Injury` Alarm

O··· The Korean national team is in emergency, as Hwang Sun-Hong and Yoo Sang-Chul (both Kashiwa Reysol) were injured during a J-League match in Japan.

Hwang and Yoo each injured their right shoulder and left knee during the J-League Nagoya Grampus match on the 13th. Hwang hurt his shoulder while falling onto the ground, and Yoo his left knee, as the other team’s defender tackled in.

Hwang, whose ligament is stretched, is currently under physical therapy, and Yoo’s definite conditions will be known after an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) test on the 16th.

O··· `Europe-based` Sul Gi-Hyun (Belgium, Anderlecht) and Ahn Jung-Hwan (Italy, Perugia) are to join the national team on the 16th. “As their request for temporary transfer for the Costa Rican match on the 20th was answered by their teams, Sul and Ahn will be joining the training camp in Daegu on the 16th,¡° said Hur Jin, the national team’s Media supervisor. ”
