Special Prosecutor Cha Jeong-Il summoned Kim Seung-Hwan again. The Special Prosecution team (SP) grilled Mr. Kim whether he delivered the request of Lee Hyung-Taek "to notice former Prosecutor General Shin Seung-Nam that his brother Shin Seung-Hwan received money from Lee Yong-Ho." in September last year.

SP summoned Mr. Lee Hyung-Taek and had cross investigation with Mr. Kim but Mr. Kim reported denied having any pressure to Shin S.N. to cover up the investigation, saying "I have never heard of such request from Lee Hyung-Taek and never informed former Prosecutor General Shin that Shin S.H had received money."

However, SP has reportedly collected circumstantial evidences that Mr. Kim noticed Shin S.N. about Shin S.H`s taking money through close analysis of the telecommunication record and the guest book.

SP is also investigating whether Lee Hyung-Taek was involved in the stock market manipulation, suspecting that the money that Mr. Lee received from his junior at Donghwa Bank Hur Ok-Seok might be the part of marginal profit from the sales of the SamaeIndus` overseas CB.

SP is also planning to summon former lawmaker Kim Bong-Ho (NMDP), who allegedly received 50 million won from Mr. Lee Yong-Ho through a Mr. Park right before the 4.13 general election in 2000.

Meanwhile, SP indicted Lee Hyung-Taek for the charge of making a contract to receive 15 percent of profit for his lobby through Cheong Wa Dae, National Intelligence Service, and Maritime Police, leading the treasure excavation project.
