The last situation of the U.S. planes, which were used for the suicide terrorist attacks on Tuesday, began to be unveiled through a partial transcript between hijackers and the pilots.
CNN reported on Wednesday that when American Airlines (AA) Flight 11 Boeing 767, which was crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York, was hijacked, a pilot operated a microphone and delivered the situation to the air traffic controllers.
An air traffic controller at the Logan Airport in Boston said that ``I directed AA Flight 11 to fly at an altitude of 31,000 feet, but the flight did not respond. Then, suddenly AA Flight 11 changed its route to the South. Soon after, I heard a man`s strange voice from the plane.``
The strange man said in English, ``Don`t act foolish, or you will be hurt. Turn the plane to the Kennedy Airport in New York.`` He also said that ``we have more planes. Other planes are in our hands as well.``
AA Flight 11 headed South following the Hudson River in New York, and disappeared from the radar at 8:45 am.
It was assumed that passengers of United Airlines (UA) Flight 93 Boeing 767 that crashed in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh, fought against the terrorists at the last moment.
Air traffic controllers heard someone shout, ``Get out of here`` through an open microphone of the pilots seat. ``Get out of here`` somebody again yelled.
Soon after, a voice with an Arabic accent said, ``This is the captain speaking. There is a bomb on board. Remain in your seat. We are returning to the airport.`` Then, the plane abruptly turned 180 degrees.
At the same time, passenger Jeremy Glick called his wife and said that ``the plane had been hijacked. Three Arab looking men are controlling the plane. One man is holding a red box which was a bomb, and another man is holding a knife. Some of the passengers were considering doing something against the hijackers.``
Another passenger Thomas Burnett called his wife and said that ``one passenger was stabbed. A group of us are going to do something about it.`` ``We decided to attack the hijackers. I`ll call you back.`` Burnett said. That was the last news.
