Daewoo E&C wins Libyan hospital project

Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. announced Tuesday that it has received a US$150 million order for a hospital project in Benghazi, the second largest city in Libya.

The Korean builder plans to engage in renovation of the 1200-bed Benghazi hospital, as well as supply various construction materials. Daewoo is expected to begin the construction work around June and complete the project by the end of next year.
