H.O.T. denies rumors of disbanding

H.O.T., one of the nation`s top dance pop groups, officially denied rumors Wednesday that it would soon be disbanding.

Moon Hee-Jun, one of the group`s five members, said during a concert at Chamsil Olympic Main Stadium Wednesday night, ``Wild rumors are getting around, but we will never disband as long as we still have your support.``

Some 45,000 cheering fans answered the denial with thunderous applause. The concert audience, mostly teenaged girls, braved rain and sleet to attend the show, where they waved white balloons and sang along to all the group`s hits.

Enthusiastic fans began gathering at the stadium as many as three days ago to obtain tickets, some responding to rumors that the concert would be the group`s last before its breakup.
