Kim Un-Yong, chairman of the Korean Taekwondo Association, Wednesday proposed inter-Korean working-level talks on a joint taekwondo demonstration either in Seoul or Pyongyang on March 14-17.
Kim made the overture in a telephone message to Hwang Bong-Yong, chairman of the North Korean Taekwondo Commission.
He proposed that each delegation be made up of a chief delegate, two delegates, a small entourage and the taekwondo athletes themselves, noting that the chief should be chosen from among the bureau heads at each Korean martial arts society.
