Ritual for Rain

With the winter drought showing no sign of abating, a ritual for rain yesterday is held for the first time in four decades at Yongdam Dam in Jinan, North Jeolla Province, attended by public officials, employees of the Korea Water Resources Corp. and residents clad in traditional attire. The dam has lost 74.6 percent of its water due to the drought.
