Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors have proved their qualities globally by ranking at first and fourth in a German automobile quality survey.

According to the German automobile magazine “Auto Bild Quality Report 2016” published on Saturday, Hyundai Motor shared the first place with the Japanese auto brand Mazda, and Kia Motors were placed on the fourth position next to the Japanese Toyota among 20 brands. In 2015, Hyundai and Kia ranked third and first, respectively.

Other brands include Mini (3rd), Volvo (6th), Benz and Opel (7th), Nissan (9th), and Audi, BMW, and Dacia (10th). In addition, Volkswagen was ranked the lowest with Skoda at 19th from the previous 18th due to the globally disputed diesel gate. The Auto Bild Quality Report eval‎uates the quality satisfaction, 100,000-kilometer durability, recall status, customer complaints, and regular inspection results of auto brands sold in Germany.
