T-shirts with a picture of Pianist Cho Seong-jin, echo bags with a picture of international conductor Leonard Bernstein, and cell-phone cases with a picture of soprano Anna Netrebko in her concert....

The classical music industry is using fashion merchandise to attract customers. Deutsche Grammophon (DG), an international classical music label famous for its yellow logo, released two products with their unique yellow logo: an LP-sized echo bag and a glass bottle. This is the first time for a classical music label to sell products that are not music albums.

DG plans to develop and sell more merchandises and make it a trend in the classical music industry. Lee Yoo-gyeom, a manager of Universal Music Korea stated, "If fans want, we will not just stop at the logo but also release various products with our musicians' consent. We will also extend our partnership with clothing brands." The company is considering to release various products such as T-shirts, caps, bags, office supplies, and cups imprinted with pictures of famous musicians or orchestras with their respective logos.

DG's products are available at the official online shopping ball of Bravado, the Universal Music-affiliated merchandising brand as well as the classic music website "Pungwoldang," Interpark, Yes24, Aladin and Hottracks.
