"The Galaxy S6 Edge 128 Gigabyte (GB)" in green emerald color, a limited edition that will be put on sale next week, has been priced by SK Telecom at 1.188 million won (1,080 U.S. dollars). This supply price is the highest ever among the smartphones produced in Korea. The price is the same as that for the "iPhone 6 Plus (128 GB)," which was introduced in October last year.

T World Direct, the official online store for SK Telecom, announced the price to its customers on Wednesday. Price for the 64 GB version of the same model has yet to be fixed. KT and LG Uplus will also reportedly set their prices for the 128GB version at a similar level.

Samsung Electronics plans to release a blue topaz color version for the Galaxy S6 model. However, the company has no plan to release a Galaxy S6 128GB version again this time.
