Fears over hydrofluoric acid

Villagers wearing masks gather Sunday at the village hall of Bongsan-ni, which has been affected by leaks of hydrofluoric acid, in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province. The toxic gas was leaked 11 days ago, but villagers remained highly anxious since no specific action has been taken on rice paddies and farmland other than the spraying of slaked lime and water in the village.
