The 137th annual Kentucky Derby opened Saturday at the Churchill Downs racecourse in Louisville, Kentucky, as the first competition of horseracing`s Triple Crown. With more than 150,000 spectators filling the stands to capacity, three-year-old horses dash ahead on the starting signal, causing a dust cloud.
