Japan’s New Leader

Japanese Finance Minister Naoto Kan (third from left) is named his country`s 94th prime minister Friday. The head of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan greets lawmakers who elected him in a vote by members of the House of Councilors and the House of Representatives in Japan’s Diet.
