Another Argument vs. Sejong City
Ruling Grand National Party lawmaker Jin Soo-hee (left) at a supreme council meeting Thursday says a letter written by the late former President Kim Dae-jung in prison opposed the relocation of the national capital from Seoul. Kim sent the letter to his wife, Lee Hee-ho, Nov. 29, 1977, when he was in a prison in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province. Details of the letter include Kims opposition to the plan of then President Park Chung-hee to relocate administrative organizations.
