New Era in Japanese Politics

The Liberal Democratic Party’s reign over the Japanese government has ended after 54 years. The man opposition Democratic Party of Japan secured more than 300 of the 480 seats at the House of Representatives, while the Liberal Democrats garnered only about 100 seats.
