Surging Demand for Smaller Cars

Amid soaring oil prices, sales of smaller cars have gone up thanks to their high fuel efficiency. A manufacturing line of Matiz moves briskly yesterday at the GM Daewoo factory in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province. The carmaker said that its sales of Matiz this month increased 40 percent from January.
