Korea-Arab Society Ready for Launch

An international conference was held yesterday at Lotte Hotel in downtown Seoul ahead of the launch of the Korea-Arab Society next month, with over 200 dignitaries from Arab states in attendance. The Korea-Arab Society is aimed at creating a major network between businesses in Korea and the Middle East. From the second from the left in the picture are Algerian presidential envoy Ahmed Ouyahia, Sudanese President Lt-Gen Omar al-Bashir, Prime Minister Han Seung-soo, Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh, Mohammed Saleh Al-Sada, minister for energy and industrial affairs from Qatar, Prince Mired Bin Raad Zeid Al-Hussein of Jordan and Lee Hee-beom, chairman of the Korea International Trade Association.
