Snowfall on the Threshold of Spring

Tuesday’s heavy snow fall in Gangwon Province provides a magnificent view in Daegwallyeong area, one of the best plateaus in Korea. A heavy snowfall warming was issued in the mountainous region where up to 30.5 centimeters of snow had fallen between Monday and Tuesday. Bus operations were at one point reduced due to the heavy snow. Meanwhile, a dry whether alert on the east coast has been lifted after the snowfall, alleviating worries over forest fires in the region.
