On September 14, the first day of the final round of the Fedex Cup golf tour championship (total awards amounting to $7 million), players could not finish the game due to bad weather. The first round, held at East Lake Club in Atlanta, Georgia, has been delayed till the next day due to heavy rains and thunderstorms.

Only 10 among the 30 total players could finish their round. Tim Clarke (South Africa) led with 8-under 62, and Tiger Woods (U.S.) was at 4-under, making five birdies and one bogey through 11 holes.

“Tank” Choi Kyung-ju, Phil Mickelson (U.S.) and Vijay Singh (Fiji) were ranked 19th together. Steve Stricker, who could earn prize money worth $10 million simply by winning the tour championship regardless of Woods’ ranking in the tournament, was at 1-over-par through 11 holes, which has lowered him in the rankings.
