“See Whether Clothes Fit You Without Wearing Them!”

On August 23, Shinsegae Department in Chungmuro, Jung-gu, Seoul opened its “3D Virtual Fitting Service,” which allows a customer to find out whether clothes will fit well without trying them on. This service utilizes a technology that scans the body of the customer accurately to create an avatar with the exactly same body as the customer, and lets the avatar wear the clothes. Once the body of the customer is scanned, the data can be opened at any place where the required system is installed.
