A Papal Footbath for Easter

On the first day of Holy Week, April 5, Pope Benedict XVI washes the feet of a believer at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Rome. At this ritual that commemorates the night before the execution of Jesus when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, the Pope washed the feet of 12 believers.
