A total of 3,738 mothers in Manila, Philippines, fed their children naturally at one time on May 4, setting a Guiness Record. It surpassed the previous record set in 2002 where 1,130 women in California fed their children naturally. The Philippines Ministry of Health and related NGOs held this event in order to promote the importance of natural feeding to boost maternal and children’s health for Filipino low-income families.
