Conflict between the Prosecution and Police

The prosecution and police are in conflict over the Uri Party’s revision bill of the criminal procedural law which defines the two as equal partners. The prosecution said, “It is unacceptable,” while the police said, “It is only natural that police gains the authority to investigate.” Prosecutor-General Chung Sang-myoung (right) is reviewing data with Commissioner General of the KNPA (Korean National Police Agency) Huh Joon-young in the sixth anti-corruption meeting held on November 24 in Cheong Wa Dae.
