A New National Museum

There was a long queue of people in front of the new Yongsan National Museum waiting to enter the exhibition room on Friday afternoon. On the first day, 20,000 people visited the new museum in the afternoon alone, reflecting the high expectations and interest of Koreans. At the back is the main building, a modern version of a traditional castle. The 404m long, 43m high museum has a total floor space of 14,000 pyeong and a total indoor exhibition space of 8,100 pyeong, the sixth largest in the world.
