Daughters Cheer for Joy

The “Daughters’ Rebellion” has succeeded. The Supreme Court overturned an original ruling that men over 20 years of age were only considered part of a family clan, and ruled on July 21 that women over 20 are also a part of a family clan. Shim Jeong-sook, Shin-ja, and Gyeong-sook (left to right) of the Hyeryeong clan, Cheongsong Shim family, the people who filed the lawsuit, are happy about the ruling.
