On June 3, the Lotte Department Store at Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, started selling round carrots that look like balls at its vegetable section. These carrots that are sweeter than average carrots were cultivated in the Gimhae area of Gyeongnam Province. The price is 400 won per 100g, which is more expensive than average carrots that sell for 320 won. The seeds are of European origin.
