“Koala” Park Hee-jung (CJ) placed in the top 10 for the fourth time this season at the U.S. LPGA Tour Michelob Ultra Open (total prize money $2.2 million).

On May 9, during the third and fourth round at Kingsmill Resort (par 71) in Williamsburg, Virginia, Park tied for sixth place with a one-under 283. Out of eight tournaments this season, she has placed in the top 10 four times, the most out of all the Korean players.

Ahn Shi-hyun (Kolon Elord) and Kim Mi-hyun (KTF) tied for eighth with scores of one-over 285. They are returning to Korea to compete in the Korea Women’s Open.

Annika Sorenstam (Sweden) attempted to make history by winning six consecutive tournaments, but failed when she placed 12th with a two-over 286. She finished in a tie with Park Ji-eun (Nike Golf) for 12th place.

Christie Kerr (USA) won the tournament for the first time this season with a nine-under 275.
