Park Ju-young (20 years old, FC Seoul), a “soccer genius,” scored his second goal of the season in a match with Incheon United in the 2005 Samsung Hauzen Championship.

The game was held on April 17 at Munhak World Cup Stadium in Incheon.

With FC Seoul trailing Incheon United, 1-2 around the 26-minute mark of the latter half, Park headed a ball kicked by Ricardo high in the air from the far right of the penalty area, right in front of the end zone.

Park last scored a goal in a game against the Seongnam Ilhwa on March 13. For three matches, he did not score. A month later, the scorer is switched back on. Park Ju-young’s record stands at two goals scored and one assist in six matches.

Despite a great performance from Park, FC Seoul lost to Incheon, 2-3.

Lee Dong-guk (26 years old, Pohang Steelers), “Lion King,” back from his military service, excited Steelers fans with one goal and one assist in a game with Daegu FC. The match was the second one of the year for Lee, who has just returned to the professional league.

At the 24 minute-mark of the first half, he helped Kim Hong-cheol shoot the first goal of the game. Around the 34-minute point of the first half, Pohang Steelers was ahead of its opponent, 2-0. Then, Tavarez passed the ball to Lee from the front of the arc circle, and Lee stroked the ball squarely in front of the penalty area. The goal was his first as a Pohang Steeler in two years and five months since November 17 2002, when Lee scored in a game against Seongnam.

In a close fight, Pohang ended the match with the Daegu in a 4-4 tie.
