President Roh Returns to Korea

President Roh Moo-hyun returned to Korea on the morning of December 9 after concluding his 11-day 10-night “Eighth ASEAN+3 (Korea, China, Japan) Summit Meeting” and tours of the U.K., Poland, and France. President Roh left Korea on November 28.

President Roh will once again depart Korea to attend the December 17-18 summit meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi in Ibusuki, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. President Roh’s visit to Japan is in part to fulfill shuttle diplomacy between the two nations.
