Anti-Korean Islamic Group Captured

Posted October. 13, 2004 23:18,

It is recently known that authorities captured a group of illegal Bangladeshi aliens who organized an anti-Korean Islamic group.

Lawmaker Kim Jae-gyeong (Grand National Party) from the Legislation and Judiciary Committee of National Assembly received a report from the Ministry of Justice on October 13 revealing that the National Intelligence Service, along with the Seoul Immigration Bureau, caught a group of illegal Bangladeshi aliens calling themselves the “Dawatool Islam Korea.” The report says the National Intelligence Service had expelled one of the group’s three leaders, “H” (27), but other members of the group were on the run.

Using Gyeonggi Province and Anyang City as its base, the group is reported to have helped illegal aliens get jobs, and from this, is reported to have earned 100 million won that it later sent to a political party in Bangladesh.
