The 17th KOTFA, the Korea World Travel Fair, with organization committee head, Chin Joong-mok, will be held at the third floor of Atlantic Hall at COEX, Seoul from June 3 to 6. You can obtain the newest travel information of the main attractions from 40 countries around the world, not to mention Korea, and also check out the different types of travel packages available. The hours of the fair are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This years fair has 2,200 participants with 350 government organizations, airline companies, travel agencies, and travel-related industries such as car rental, duty free shopping, hotels, restaurants, and others from 40 countries. They offer the newest information regarding their countries or companies travel packages or programs at their booths. Sixteen local governments are participating and publicizing their regional tourist attractions.
The fair includes many different types of entertainment. The main stage offers ethnic performances from all around the world, and they play videos of different tourist attractions and cultural heritage through the multi-cube. The performances are from places such as China, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Guam, Peru, Hawaii, Okinawa, and India. Yoga is performed by the Indian team. It also features cultural souvenir shops where you can buy traditional crafts. They draw 50 tickets everyday and give out prizes such as a Matiz, a passenger car.
