Honam Express Railway Opened
Honam Express Railway has opened. Korean National Railroad hosted the opening ceremony at the plaza in front of Mokpo Station with over 1,000 guests, including Acting President Goh Kun, to mark the completion of double-tracked electric Honam Express Railway and the opening of the railway. The express railway brings the whole nation within a two-hour travel range by running from Seoul to Mokpo in two hours and 58 minutes. The express railway will start its service starting on April 1.
