U.N. inspectors on Monday said that it is obvious that Pakistan leaders had basically known of the illegal transfer of nuclear technology between the scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan and North Korea.
Despite Pakistans official denial, U.N. inspectors are convinced that Pakistans high-level policy decision-makers had already known the truth that it received missiles with which to deliver bombs in exchange for helping North Korea develop the nuclear weapons.
One U.N. inspector said, It is unbelievable that the Pakistani government did not recognize what was happening right in front of itself.
However, he did not mention whether the person who had known about the deal between Abdul Qadeer Khan and North Korea was related to the army, to the government, or to both of them.
