Speaker of Congress Told to Pass FTA Bill

The speaker of congress, Park Gwan-yong (middle), held a meeting with the congressmen from the agriculture and marine product council of congress at a restaurant in Seoul on February 12, and told them to pass the Korea-Chile FTA ratification bill smoothly. Park was also engaged in a verbal battle with the congressmen who are opposed to the FTA.
