Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Demonstrated in Downtown

A nationwide strike in protest of the Roh Moo-hyun administration was held with the participation of several thousands of workers of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions in Daehangno, Hyewha-dong Jongno-gu in Seoul on the afternoon of November 6. Participants pressed the government for the prohibition of the provisional seizure of users’ compensation for damage and a solution to the discrimination against temporary workers.
