400 Tons in Leftover from Last Year`s Garlic Imports from China

As safeguards against Chinese garlic loses effect at the end of this year, the price of Chinese frozen garlic is expected to sharply decline. About 400 tons of Chinese garlic, which was imported last December, but not yet distributed, has been kept in a storage of the Agricultural and Fisheries Marketing Corporation in Icheon, Gyeonggi province.
