The German daily newspaper Die Beldt reported on the 22nd that Egypt is planning to develop nuclear weapons to keep the balance of military power with the support of China and North Korea.
This newspaper quotes some western news sources and says that Egypt is considering buying ballistic missiles from North Korea to station nuclear and bio-chemical weapons, and when the US begins attacking Iraq, the watch of US for the spread of military weapons will be loose; therefore, that will be the time of buying.
The report also says that Egypt is being offered the technologies for mining of Uranium and producing of plutonium and fluoride by China, and that offering is based on the agreement between both countries about the peaceful use of nuclear power that the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak drew out when he visited China on January.
