‘GM-Daewoo Motors’ Is Born

Daewoo Motors Inc. welcomes a new owner, the U.S. General Motors (GM). CEO of Daewoo Motors Lee Jong-Dae (left), governor the Korea Development Bank (KDB) Jung Keun-Yong, and CEO of GM Jack Smith are shaking hands after signing the final contract at the KDB main headquarters on April 30. Daewoo will reincarnate as `GM-Daewoo Motors (preliminary)` on July 1.
