Jean-Marie Le Pen of the National Front (FN), a far-right politician, took the second position in the first round of the presidential election of France held on April 21, shocking France. Both President Jacques Chirac (left) and FN party chairman Le Pen (middle), who took the first and second position respectively, are confident to win the run-off presidential votes.
