Maxon Telecom Advances into Russian Market

Maxon Telecom (president Kim Hyun), a specialized manufacturer of the Global System for Mobil Communication (GSM) cellular phone, announced yesterday that it will advance into the Russian GSM cellular phone market.

Holding an introduction ceremony together with HMM, a distribution company, in Moscow today, it will export 80,000 GSM cellular phones (MX-6890 and MX-6820 models) to HMM in this year.

Maxon Telecom made an exclusive sales contract of its products in Russia with HMM in last Feb.

An official of Maxon Telecom said, “In Russia, there are hot market competitions among the mobil communication companies to attract customers especially in large cities, such as Moscow. The introduction of these brands is meaningful in the sense of preoccupation of the Russian cellular phone market.”
