Cyber Patrol Launched to Clear Unsound Information Out of Internet

Here came a `Cyber Patrol` that watches the distribution of unsound information on the Internet.

Information Communication Ethics Committee (ICEC) announced on the 10th that `Cyber Patrol Netizen` was launched and started the mission of watching unhealthy information on the Internet.

ICEC organized this Cyber Patrol after selecting 100 volunteers to keep watch over unsound information like sexual and violent one on the Internet. As the cyber patrol were usually young netizens at the age of 20s and 30s, monitoring at midnight, which has been weak so far, will be intensified.

ICEC will judge the information cyber patrol reports whether it is unsound or not, and request the businessman to correct or inform to the police. The Ministry of Information and Communication and ICEC decided to provide activity expense of 30,000 won a month and online and offline trainings in order to support Cyber Patrol for professional monitoring.
