Special Prosecutor Cha Jeong-Il, who is investigating the `Lee Yong-Ho Gate` learned that Shin Seung-Hwan, a brother of the Prosecutor General, had received more money in addition to the 66.66 million won that Mr. Shin received for his salary and extra benefits when he was hired by Lee Yong-Ho, president of G&G. The special prosecutor summoned Mr. Shin and 3-4 related individuals in G&G to investigate the amount and the purpose of the monetary transactions.

Mr. Shin said, "I have not received any money except for the allowance." when he arrived at the prosecutors office in Samsung-dong.

The Special Prosecutors team grilled Mr. Shin on how Mr. Shin got a job in Mr. Lee`s company, why he met with Prosecutor General Shin twice after he was hired, and whether he did anything to prevent the prosecutors` investigation.

The Special Prosecutors will indict Mr. Shin for violation of the Attorneys-at-Law act if Mr. Shin turns out to have received money to interrupt the prosecutors` investigation.

The Special Prosecution received a warrant for search and seizure for accounts of one Mr. Kim, who was an executive member of Living TV and suspected to have received 30 million won from Mr. Lee, and is tracing the related accounts and investigating whether the money was used for political lobbying.

In addition, the Special Prosecutors team received a warrant for search and seizure for the accounts of Kim Hyun-Sung (35), former chairperson of the Korea Electronic Lottery who received 1.4 billion won for an illegal advance of 3 billion won to Mr. Lee.
