Encounter of Medieval Fine Arts and Dresses

Designer Andre Kim will hold a special fashion collection at the Crystal Ballroom in Hotel Lotte at 6:30 pm on 15th. This is a joint event with an international academic symposium, hosted by the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles (KSCT).

He will show his 165 dresses including a medieval style evening dress in which the image of paintings by Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Leonardo da Vinci are engraved.

Andre Kim explained, ``I will focus on the image of a fantastic festival in which goddess in the myths hold a gala in heaven.``

A pure-white wedding dress and a pink dress for an engagement ceremony will create a festive atmosphere. And the 7-layers dress, in which the image of Korean women’s Han (sorrow) was illustrated, will decorate the moment of climax. (02-540-3001)
