Sending Fertilizer Shipment Plan to NK

The Republic of Korea Red Cross(RKRC) sent an official letter in the name of President Sun Young-hoon to his North Korean counterpart, Jang Jae-on by a telegram, containing the 4th to 10th shipment plan for fertilizer aid in the meeting with a liaison personnel North Korea red cross at Panmunjom.

According to the shipment plan of RKRC, 15,000 tons of composite fertilizer will be shipped from Yosu harbor to Nampo harbor, 5000 tons of chemical fertilizer will be shipped from Ulsan to Wonsan harbor, and so 57,000 tons of fertilizer in total are supposed to be sent up to 15th.

A government official told that “a liaison officer of North Korea red cross delivered to us the gratitude of high officials for such a swift fertilizer aid in the meeting at Panmunjom”

First ship, departed between 2nd and 5th is on unloading at Nampo harbor, second ship is returning to Ulsan harbor after unload, and third ship is entering to Haeju Harbor, told the official.
