Prime minister Helen Clark of New Zealand will make an official working-level visit to Korea on May 13-16 along with her husband, presidential spokesman Park Joon-Young announced Monday.
President Kim will have a summit meeting with Clark on May 15 to discuss ways of enhancing friendship and cooperation and economic and trade issues between the two countries. They will also exchange views on a broad range of topics of mutual concern such as the situation on the Korean peninsula and in Southeast Asia, the spokesman said. During Clark’s visit here, the two countries will conclude the ``Korea-New Zealand Criminal Repatriation Treaty.``
Clark is the fourth prime minister of New Zealand to visit Seoul, and her coming here is expected to raise the substantial cooperative relations between the two countries a step higher.
