This photo earned Alan Diaz of the Associated Press the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news photography. The photo shows, Elian Gonzalez, a Cuban boy bursting into tears as U.S. government agents stormed the Miami home where he was staying to seize custody of the boy Apr. 22, 2000.
